Nimble Thompson - Chairman |

Nimble's background is as a commercial litigator of wide experience, both in England and internationally. Trained in London, he spent his legal life in Leeds becoming Managing Partner, and later Senior Partner of Eversheds in Leeds and Manchester. As the National Vice-Chairman of Eversheds, he was instrumental in the creation of what is one of the biggest European law firms. He became the Chairman of Leeds Metropolitan University in September 2000. |

Dr Alex Mehta - Communications Director |

Alex was educated at Oxford University and awarded his doctorate in law and regulatory compliance. He attended the Inns of Court School of Law on a Sir Thomas More scholarship where he trained as a barrister. Alex qualified at the Chambers of Christopher Lockhart-Mummery QC and was an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Socio-legal Studies, Oxford. A Hardwicke scholar of Lincoln's Inn, Alex is regularly asked to provide expert commentary for the national and international media. |

Conor is ex-Divisional Managing Director at Bank of America where he was Head of Foreign Exchange Trading. He was also the Bank's representative on the Executive Board of EBS.com. A well respected figure in the City, Conor has many years of experience in banking and wide spread contacts in the financial sector, having previously worked with JP Morgan and the Bank of Ireland. Conor has a BA in Legal Science from Trinity College, Dublin and is currently qualifying as a barrister. |

He worked for Saatchi and Saatchi for 17 years, rising through the ranks to Joint Chief Executive of worldwide communications and finally as a Director of the company. He co-founded Warman & Bannister Advertising and Public Relations in 1991. |

Dr Whelan is a consultant to the Office of Fair Trading, the National Consumer Council, the Dutch government and the Law Reform Commission of British Columbia. He also practises privately as a barrister from 3 Paper Buildings, the chambers of Michael Parroy QC where he specialises in Employment law. |

Professor John Flood |

John Flood is Professor of Law and Sociology at the University of Westminster. He studied law at London School of Economics, Warwick and Yale. He received his PhD in sociology from Northwestern University. As a specialist in law and social science, he has researched and taught at the American Bar Foundation, Indiana University and the European University Institute. His research has included studies of lawyer-client interaction, arbitration, the globalization of law, transnational insolvency and consumer complaints in the financial services sector. |
