Food Safety law is primarily to be found in The Food Safety Act 1990 and subsequent amendments. The Act covers four main areas: |
| |
| |
Labelling |
| |
| |
Additives and Contaminants |
| |
| |
Composition |
| |
| |
Public Health and Hygiene |
| |
| |
The Act creates several criminal offences for non-compliance in addition to those previously available under the Weights and Measures Act and the Trade Descriptions Act 1968.
Judicium offers food companies valuable assistance in devising and implementing effective food hygiene control measures and general compliance issues including audits, risk assessments, procedures and training.
